February 10, 2011 School Valentine Party and Y Princess Father/Daughter Dance

For Jordan's Valentine's Party at school, it is a Daddy/Daughter affair. The fathers attend and give their daughters a flower. A class picture is taken with the Dads and Daughters and then they go to the classroom. In the classroom, they got to do a craft with their Dads, look at their valentines they received, listen to a story read by one of the father's and have a snack. Jordan absolutely loved her Valentine's Party and was thrilled her Daddy was there with her.

Also on this day, Jordan and her Daddy attended the Y-Princess Father/Daughter dinner and dance at the Doubletree hotel. Jordan wore her brand new Valentine dress. CHH bought her a wrist corsage (pictured above) to wear for the dance. Jordan loved it. CHH said Jordan and him danced, danced, danced :) He said one song came on and Jordan specifically sought him out regarding the song. It was "Butterfly Kisses". CHH told Jordan that I bought the CD with the song on it and gave it to CHH when Jordan was born. True. CHH told me he picked Jordan up and while holding her and hugging her, they danced to the song. I got teary-eyed hearing about it!! I am so glad Jordan knows how much her sister and her are loved by both of us.
