Besides cake, I bought cupcakes for all the kids. They were much easier to serve plus kids love cupcakes. All in all, Katelyn had a great birthday party and wonderful birthday weekend. The funny thing is it was still all about the party for Katelyn. She didn't even realize she had received birthday presents. We took the gifts home from the party in trash bags and set them in the kitchen. A couple of days later she told me I needed to take out the trash without realizing they were her gifts. When we finally opened them the following weekend, she was thrilled and loved everything.
