R.I.P. Ms. Oscar Meyer Weiner 1994-2010

My 16 year old dog, Ms. Oscar Meyer Wiener passed away today. I was heartbroken. After the girls said their good-byes to her I took her to the vet. My Dad called when I was driving there and I couldn't talk because I was crying so hard. He had me go by and pick him up. We drove to the vet's together with my Dad holding Ms. Oscar and crying right along with me. We went in together, told her we loved her and as I stroked her sweet little head she went peacefully. My Dad and I stood their afterwards hugging and crying. Thank you Daddy for being so good to me and being there for me! I love you.

Living on my own, I had three of my very own pets; they are all now in Heaven. Cocoa, Mr. Kitty (the Siamese) and Ms. Oscar were my babies and true friends in life. They loved me as much as I loved them. As I told my Dad today, Ms. Oscar was with me in law school, moving from Oklahoma to Texas, dating, breaking up, working as an attorney, marriage, new home, Jordan, Katelyn, etc. She was a significant part of my life during many life changes for me. I'm going to miss you my sweet girl!!

Jordan saying good-bye. Broke my heart.

Katelyn saying good-bye when I dropped her at school.

My Dad wrote the following for me today:
Oscar was our little dog,
We loved to watch her play,
She grew up to tears and joy,
We saw her every day.
But as time passes and seems to run,
her body did decay.
In her eye a tear.
on her face a smile,
as she quietly slipped away.
Our hearts were broken that early day,
but hope returned, we pray!
To see her jump and play again in her new home far way.
To feel the love so high above,
We'll meet again...some day.
Your Dad loves you. 1 Nov 10

Happy Halloween 2010

For Halloween, we went over to Jordan's classmate's house for dinner and then to go Trick-or-Treating. Jordan and Katelyn had the best time with all of their friend; CHH and I did too.

Pumpkin Weekend - October 23rd and 24th, 2010

Katelyn and some of her classmates at a birthday party. I took Katelyn to the birthday party at Pump-It-Up while Jordan and her Daddy were at a pumpkin carving.

So, so cute!
Jordan and her Daddy are in Y Princess with several other Dads and Daughters from her school. On this weekend, the Dads and Daughters met at a home to carve pumpkins. Jordan was so excited and had the best time her Dad told me. Jordan and her Daddy with their pumpkin.

Jordan with her Jack-O-Latern smile! Her smile matches her pumpkin.

CHH and I leaving to attend a costume party.

Katelyn and her Daddy cutting another pumpkin. Katelyn had to have her turn as well! She was so into helping her Daddy with the pumpkin. Katelyn's personality continues to grow and be even more fun. I get the biggest grin watching her and seeing her smile.

Jordan also had a pumpkin carving party to go to on this weekend. Her classmate hosted it. What a great fun idea!

Jordan with one of her classmates at the party.

These two are so precious with their matching chocolate brown eyes, blondish-brown curly hair, and missing teeth smiles.

Are they praying?!

3rd Tooth Tonight! Fun Day!

Jordan's school each year has an event with the all boys school. This year it was at the boys' campus. It is called Fun Day.

Jordan already to go at Fun Day.

Jordan and some of her classmates.

Katelyn attended Fun Day as well. She loved it.

Jordan cracks me up. She loves to dance and do gymnastics. While waiting for face painting, she was dancing to the music coming across over the loud speakers.

Katelyn waiting to get her face painted.

Katelyn loved this. Do you see her red hair? She got it spray painted as well as getting her face painted. Who wouldn't have fun at this event?!

Jordan's turn!

Classmates!

More classmates!

Jordan's face is red and splotchy in this picture. She is holding her tooth. Her 3rd tooth fell out and unfortunately it was very painful. It was only half way loose when she bit into a rock hard ice cream cookie sandwich. She must have hit it just right because it snapped the tooth right off. She was crying so hard and there was blood everywhere. After she realized she had lost another tooth, she calmed down but kept expressing how much it had hurt. Poor thing. The gap it left behind was pretty yucky. Looking at it, I knew it really did have to have hurt.

Better now!

Three teeth gone now :)

Katelyn loved this swing ride as well. She, again, did every ride her sister did. Katelyn does not feel she is too little to do anything and keeps up with her sister.

After Fun Day, a group of us went over to a friend's house close by for dinner and more fun. The girls had a great exciting day!
