We Weren't Home All Weekend

For this month on Friday, CHH and I went to Jordan's Rotunda Rocks singing performance. We always love these every month and love to hear the girls sing. Jordan loves it and she takes note to make sure we are both there.

Saturday Jordan had a soccer game. The girls were very good and allowed Katelyn to join in on the fun.

Katelyn had a good time as well on the side lines playing with her buddy.

After the soccer game, the girls played in the sand pile next to the field. Lovely :)

Saturday night, we went over to our friend's house we go to so often. As always, the kids had the best time and we enjoyed our dinner and company. Fun, fun!

Sunday, the girls started ice skating lessons! Jordan and two of her friends from school really wanted to take ice skating; they kept talking about it. The Moms contacted each other and decided to sign them up for an eight week class. The great thing is Katelyn can be in the class as well. Jordan and her buddy in the middle are two of the three talking about ice skating all the time.

Katelyn and the girls. When we got to the lesson, Jordan told me that A. guessed the skates would be white with pink strings. Jordan said she told A. that she thought they would be sparkly silver skates. I told Jordan the skate rentals were black and I got a "EEEEwwwwwww" from her.

Jordan and her friends at their first lesson. She's up!

After the lessons, CHH and I took the girls to lunch at the Corner Bakery near the ice skating rink. I think it will be our new lunch spot for the next several Sundays :0

Sunday, after ice skating we join about 15 preK girls for the Disney on Ice show. Jordan is with her ice skating buddy in this picture at the Disney on Ice show.

Katelyn and her Daddy at the show.

Several of the school classmates at the show. Talk about fun!

Katelyn and her buddy at Disney on Ice. Her buddy's sister is in Jordan's class so it works out nicely for Katelyn to have a friend too.

Katelyn enjoying her blue cotton candy that she really wanted.

Katelyn having a great time at the show. After the show, we joined all the girls at the park semi-close to their school. They had a blast running around and playing with each other. We are very fortunate for Jordan to have such great classmates this year.

Manners for Kids - Katelyn's Turn!

At Katelyn's school every year, they have a manner's class. Jordan had this when she was at the school and we went to see her "graduation" as well. Today was the graduation lunch for the Katelyn's 3 year old class. It was so cute. They learned to put napkins in their laps, wipe their mouths with a napkin in a "v" stroke, and how to introduce themselves. Katelyn did great and I was so glad to watch her "performance".

Telling Ms. Jessica it is nice to meet you.

Random Pics from Our Weekend

Fridays Katelyn gets to have free dress day at her school. She loved this outfit today.

Friday night cuddling with Daddy on our bed watching Harry Potter.

Katelyn adores her kitty Siam. Once again he is such a great cat being manhandled by her all the time. He loves her.

Saturday morning, I took the girls to the Studio Movie Grill to see the new Strawberry Shortcake movie called Berryfest Princess. Jordan loved it and now wants the movie.

Saturday afternoon we went to American Girl to meet Katelyn's friend Emmy for a late lunch. Both girls took their Kit dolls.

Emmy brought her Kit too! Katelyn, Emmy and Jordan at American Girl.

Saturday night, Aunt Jill stopped by after spending all day at the hospital to be with her father-in-law and their family. Please say extra prayers for Mark! We are so thankful he is doing much better now!!

Sunday morning, the girls first thing they wanted to do was paint.

Jordan colored and painted this picture.

Katelyn painted so well! She's trying to stay in the lines. Wow. She is only 3.

Surprise! Friday Katelyn is in a purple dress with no coat or tights. Sunday my girls are out playing in snow!! Is that a weather change or what?! We woke up Sunday morning to a surprise Winter Wonderland. It was gorgeous.
