What a Week!

These are the girls' school pictures. I love love love the one of them looking at each other and smiling. Last week, we were driving to the Babar event and I glanced in my rear view mirror at them. They were sitting in their car seats and holding hands. Those are the moments that give me pause and I reflect on how much I love them. I especially love when they love each other.

What a week! Work is busy crazy right now in preparation of year end. I am working on eight various contracts for one vendor; the vendor comes up with a new contract for us to execute every time I turn around. The problem is our executives go on vacation most likely Christmas week and will be gone through the end of the year -- no one to sign documents after that. I also have other year end projects to get done so as stated work is just nuts right now.

I flew out to Knoxville for a couple of days this past week for work as well. While gone, Aunt Kara helped CHH out with the girls. Thanks Aunt Kara!

I called home one night and Jordan got on the phone. She told me she missed me which made my heart ache because I missed them as well, of course. She then asked me if Aunt Kara and Daddy were her babysitters. I laughed. It was cute.

Upon my return, we took Katelyn to get her two year shots on Thursday. She was pretty good and was all about the sucker and sticker afterwards. At two, she is 26 lbs. (50th % tile for weight) and 36 1/2 inches (95th% tile for height). Supposedly you double a child's height at the age of two and, this is how tall they will be when they grow up. We'll see if Katelyn is six feet tall! :) She will be perfect and gorgeous whatever height she ultimately is.

Friday night after dinner with the family, Kara and I went to see the new movie, Twilight. I had read all of the books as had my sister, Jill. Kara had read the first one. Jill went to see the movie on opening day and "forced" her husband, Marty to go. He was a good sport. When Kara and I went Friday night, we were mostly in a theater with teenage girls. At first, I was thinking "oh no" but the actual movie was really good. We really enjoyed it and the young man who played Edward was incredible as well as the young lady who played Bella. I can't wait for the next movie to be made and come out.
