Childcare Group Tea - Barbar, King of the Elephants and Queen Celeste

Jordan with King Babar and Queen Celeste.

Today we took the girls to the Annual ChildCareGroup Tea at the Fairmont. This is an annual fund raiser the group holds. The really neat thing about the fund raiser is the event is always based on an author and the series of books. Last year, it was the Curious George books. This year it was Babar and Celeste by Laurent de Brunhoff. The girls are in front of a balloon statue of Queen Celeste.

This is the ballon statue of King Babar.

Once inside the ballroom, I was amazed at the balloon decorations. The whole place was decorated in a jungle theme with balloons. It truly was incredible and really cute.

The ceiling had these balloon vines all over the room with monkeys hanging down.

Look at this tree with the giraffe and tiger hiding.

During the event, you could get your photos taken with King Babar and Queen Celeste. Jordan went right up to them and was so excited to talk to them. Katelyn liked them from a distance!

The girls eating their lunch. The table was decorated so cute and was wonderful in that it had brown paper and crayons for the children to color all over. This whole event was really thought out.

During the Babar stage show performance, they had the kids dancing. They are going to town on their dancing!

Santa was even at the event. He was walking by to go to his chair and saw Katelyn. He picked her up and I loved it. I actually got pictures of her smiling with Santa! Much better than the shopping mall picture where she wanted nothing to do with him. Yeah!

Face painting was one of the events. Kids just love to get their faces painted. I am always amazed how Katelyn will sit still while getting her face painted. She thought she was such a big girl at two years old!

Jordan loves to get her face painted and wanted a snow flake this time around.

After face painting, they went to cookie decorating. Another thing my girls love to do. Ali and Jordan look so intent on spreading the frosting!

Katelyn loved adding the sprinkles.

Ali and Jordan decorating their cookies as well.
The girls had a wonderful time!
