Jill and my Mom wanted a couple of gifts for the girls from the American Girl store. Jill had never been before so I suggested making a day of it. I told her we should go eat lunch there with the girls and go shopping -- so we did.
Jordan and Aunt Jill are next to the Julie doll. Jordan was showing her Aunt Jill what she asked for from Santa for Christmas. Side note: We ran into some friends today whose one daughter is in Jordan's class at school. Jordan's friend and her sister were telling Jordan how they want Kit and Julie for Christmas. I can understand more now why Jordan wants Julie when two of her friends already have her and one more is asking for her from Santa for Christmas.

Katelyn and Jordan went straight for the kitchen set in the Itty Bitty Twins section. Katelyn doesn't know it but Aunt Shery got her the oven set for Christmas. I was excited to see that it was the first thing she went for and how excited she was to play with it. To go along with the baking theme, Aunt Jill bought Katelyn the baking outfit for one of her dolls for Christmas and I bought the Chef's outfit for my Mom to give Katelyn for Christmas. My Mom loves to cook with the girls so it was a perfect gift for my Mom to give Katelyn.

The girls love their Aunt Jill! We had a really nice time at lunch and enjoyed getting to spend quality time together.

After American Girl, Jordan had a birthday party to attend at Strikz Bowling. I wanted her picture next to the Grinch but she refused to stand by him! She would do so by the dog.

Jordan getting ready to bowl. This ball is pink in the dim lights but looks orange on the picture. She had to bowl many times with the pink ball, of course.

She is putting the ball on the frame getting ready to push it.

It's gone. I love how she would watch to see how many pins she would hit.

It's off.

The party's theme was Cowboys and Cowgirls. The girls received as party gifts these cowgirl headbands. Jordan loved it! She cracked me up bowling with it on. Yes -
Kids love to dress up!

When we got home, she was still wearing the cowgirl headband. She found her stick horse and was riding him around the house playing cowgirl. When we got into the car to go home, she said our car was a cow and she was a cowgirl -- too funny!! I had to explain to her that cowgirls usually rode horses not cows.
