CHH took Jordan to a birthday party for a little boy in her class. This allowed me to have some one of one time with Katelyn and have some special time with her. We picked up Grandpa and went to the mall. Like Jordan, Katelyn loves to ride the Merry-Go-Round. We rode it twice. While Grandpa headed for the Barnes & Noble bookstore, we then went to the Disney Store. Katelyn's favorite toy is a ball. When she sees them she gets so excited. Of course she saw a ball so we had to purchase a Tinkerbell soft baseball. She was happy!
Katelyn and I then went to get her a sugar cookie with colorful sprinkles on it. She was so cute walking through the mall eating this cookie. We found Grandpa at the bookstore, looked around some, and headed home. I think it was a great time for Katelyn. She fell asleep immediately when we got home!
Also after Jordan and CHH got back and after dinner, the girls and I decorated our pumpkins we had purchased at the pumpkin patch on Saturday. I told CHH times have changed. When my Dad use to decorate a pumpkin with us girls, you had to carve it. There were no options. Now there are so many cute things you can do with a pumpkin. Anyhow in honor of the girls loving Mr. Potatohead this year, we used the Potatohead items specifically designed for pumpkins. We had a blast sitting out front after dinner decorating our pumpkins. As usual, it was so much fun being with my girls! Side note: Katelyn does not have her dress on because she decided to put her mashed potatoes all over it earlier at dinner.
Check out the picture of Katelyn's toes. I painted her toes for the first time. The polish was already coming off by nighttime but her toes were still so cute. I love those little feet :)
