Museum of Nature & Science

I had the girl's 5 year old and 3 year old pictures taken on Saturday. After pictures and ballet, Jordan had a playdate with a classmate from her former school. She had the best time Saturday afternoon playing with her friend.

Sunday, the girls made pink/red pancakes again. They were dumping the red food coloring in trying to make them red.

Sunday, we got a phone call from one of Jordan's classmate's Mom. She asked us to join them at the Museum of Nature & Science for the afternoon. We went and had a blast.

At the museum, we went and saw the movie "Dinosaurs: Giants of Patagonia;" it " highlights the history, evolution, and extinction of the dinosaurs." Surprisingly Jordan was fine watching the movie and Katelyn was the scared one. I thought it would be the opposite since Katelyn likes dinosaurs. The IMAX has the doomed screen and is really loud. The dinosaurs at times look like they walk over you. I thought it was really cool and very interesting. I had to talk to Katelyn to keep her in the theater though! At the end, she said she liked it and wanted to see it again.
After the movie, we visited The Children’s Museum downstairs in the building.

In the "Little Urban Farm" section "children can be a 'farmer for the day' and explore the nature and science of farming. They can milk a cow, gather eggs, drive a tractor, and plant, harvest and sort crops." Katelyn is riding the John Deere tricycle.
