Great Wolf Lodge - What Fun!

For the long New Year's weekend, we took the girls to the Great Wolf Lodge. The girls love to stay at hotels (like their Daddy) and love trips. CHH came up with this idea for some family weekend fun.

We arrived and the girls immediately put on their swimsuits for the inside water park.
Jordan and Katelyn relaxing in the room before we go downstairs to the waterpark.

The waterpark is awesome! Jordan, Katelyn and CHH walking into the wave pool. Jordan is in front of Katelyn in the red life vest that I insisted she wear.

After playing in the waterpark, we toured the hotel to see what else was there.

At the Lodge, they have a place called the "Cub Club" which is full of activities for kids to do. Jordan and Katelyn loved loved loved this place. They found their mecca in that they could pick out different crafts to make. The crafts were really cute and decent prices.

At night, the Lodge provides a pajama story time and a show. The girls wore their new Valentine pajamas for the show and were so excited to attend.

During the story, Wylie the Wolf showed up. All the kids got to meet Wylie after the story.

Daddy and his girls after the story, ready for bed!

Back in the room, Jordan had her own bed and loved it. She had a whole bunch of books stacked next to her and was so quiet "reading" away.

One happy Jordie Bear.

The next morning we had a buffet breakfast at the Lodge and then headed to the waterpark. We had a blast. In the morning, it wasn't as busy and we were able to do a lot of activities.

Jordan getting ready to go into the wave pool. She loved jumping over the waves.

Jordan and I went down this one waterslide in an innertube that was so much fun. Katelyn was still too short for the ride. Jordan and I rode it twice and then I had CHH go with her. I told him it reminded me of Indiana Jones speeding in the tube through the long tunnel. It was so fun and Jordan and I screamed the whole way down. The picture above is Jordan and CHH at the end of the ride.

Another activity in the waterpark was to hold this rope and walk across these moving lily pads. Jordan wanted to do it so CHH helped her get started.

She did great!
The girls also played in the pool on these floating logs.

CHH is helping Jordan on the log and Katelyn is in the process of falling off!

CHH got her after her fall :) It was slippery trying to stay on.

Taking a break by the pool eating messy Cheetos!

Once again after spending time at the waterpark and taking a long afternoon siesta (we were worn out), the girls headed to Cub Club to make crafts. They are picking out a bunny puppet this time to make.

Diligently working away on their puppets. Katelyn did so well gluing and pasting her pieces down. It was so cute to see her look at the example and copy it. Of course, Jordan's looked perfect. She loves crafts.

After bunny puppets, they wanted to paint snowflake magnets. Both girls love to paint.

Our family!

Saturday night we went to story time again. The girls remembered it and specifically asked to go. They loved it. Wylie was there again.

After the story, the girls wanted ice cream from the adorable ice cream shop at the Lodge.

Sunday morning, time to leave! The girls are standing in front of the show that takes place in the lobby every day. It was so cute with the characters singing.

We had the best time. We stayed inside for two days and never left Great Wolf Lodge. There were many activities to keep the girls occupied and several places to eat. It was amazing to be warm and content inside with it freezing cold outside. We were in shock when we left and went back outside!
After our weekend at Great Wolf Lodge, I took the girls to a birthday party for one of Jordan's friends. The birthday party was at a really fun place. The girls loved jumping into this pit filled with foam cubes. They had a blast. Katelyn loved the foam pit.

Jordan's ankles have been hurting her but she looked fine here! The next day her arm started hurting her. Yes, she makes Mommy worry.

Having fun!
