Tonight while getting into the car, Katelyn suddenly said "Mommy, what happened to the moon? Someone forgot to turn it on." Note: Clouds were covering it and it was really dim :)
While in the car, she asked me if it was going to rain or thunder tonight. Katelyn hates the rain and is scared of the thunder. Jordan loves it. Katelyn consistently asks me this every night. After I replied that it is not suppose to rain, she asked "What about lightning?"
We went to dinner with Aunt Jill tonight. Aunt Jill told me to go to Borders because they were having a sale on craft kits. We went and the girls each got a glass rock painting kit. When we got back out to the car, Jordan threw Katelyn's blanket at her (I keep blankets in the cars for the girls during the winter so they will be comfortable and warm). I told Jordan to not throw things no matter how soft at her sister. Katelyn suddenly said "Mommy, it is no big deal. It is just a little deal. Don't worry Mommy - no big deal. It was an accident. Jordan didn't mean it." So sweet coming from Katelyn! Honestly though where does she learn this -- "no big deal" -- I have never heard her say it before and it cracked me up.
Katelyn is just so funny. She is about to kill me though. I thought threes were suppose to be better than twos. Not Katelyn! She will give me a look, frown,and say "I'm angry; I'm not talking to you." Mind you I get this just because I told her to scoot over or something simple like that. The little stinker can be so mean right now. She is kind of like that saying "when she is good she is really really good but when she is bad she is terrible!"
I love her though more than life itself and despite her tormenting us and causing us grief my life is so much better with her in it. I love you Katelyn!
