Before leaving for Lubbock for Christmas, Uncle Marty and Aunt Jill brought the girl's Christmas presents over for the girls to unwrap. Jordan and Katelyn were on their way to swimming lessons that night and the gifts to the girls were perfect.

Their gifts! Jordan received lady bug "
crocs" and Katelyn received pink shark "
crocs". Talk about perfect!! Katelyn was so thrilled to have shark shoes! Jordan loves hers and has named each lady bug.

On the 23rd, we drove into Lubbock. We beat the weather by a couple of hours. It started snowing that night. The girls were so thrilled to see their cousins Jake and Zack.

In our bedroom, Aunt
Shery set up a special tree for the girls. It was decorated with princess
ornaments.

Jordan and Katelyn also received these special Christmas outfits from their Aunt
Shery. They were adorable. Jordan, Katelyn and Jake had so much fun sitting on this blow-up alligator they brought out into the living room.

The next day, the 24
th (Jake's birthday), Jordan and Jacob went out back to play in the snow. Jordan loved it.

The new addition to my sister's family is their cat, Chaucer. This cat is wonderful and I wanted to take him home. He was a big
squishball and let all the kids love on him and squish him. Of course, Katelyn fell in love with him. My sister,
Shery, rescued him from the shelter. He was scheduled to be put down. Her family went to the shelter to get a kitten and the kittens with their claws kept scratching my nephews. This kitty was in a cage close to the kittens and reminded my sister of our cat,
Paso, we had when growing up. They took him out of the cage and he was great with the boys. They took him. I'm so glad. He is young himself with the vet thinking he is about 2 years old. This cat is so darn sweet and I'm so thankful our family got the chance to love this wonderful little guy. Once again, a Siamese is a wonderful cat!!

My Mom, Grandma
Cruella, and my sweetie,
CHH. Katelyn saw this Grinch shirt when we were at the store so we bought it for her Daddy.
CHH loves it.

Zack and Chaucer. My boys!

Christmas morning, Zack cooked a wonderful breakfast for everyone. He loves to cook as does Jordan. It really was yummy.
