Happy New Year's Eve - 2009!

Good-bye 2009!

What a busy year that seems to have gone by so fast. Great things have happened this year with Jordan turning five years old and beginning her new school. Katelyn is now three and has become a little girl, no longer a baby. CHH and I have been so blessed yet again this year to be together and have our girls. We say all the time how much we love our family. I do not take it for granted and realize how fortunate we are to have each other along with our parents, siblings, Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and the rest of our extended family along with dear friends. Love you all!

For New Year's Eve, the girls were invited to a "Stroke of Noon" party from 11 AM to 1 PM. It was at one of Jordan's classmate's homes (the Mom is also her soccer coach). It was awesome! Cinderella showed up and read her story along with performing magic tricks.

Jordan's favorite princess is still Cinderella so she was a happy girl sitting up front listening to the story. Katelyn is just behind her in the matching gray outfit.

Both girls got picked to help out with a magic trick. They love magic tricks since their Daddy is always doing them.

As the clock counted down to Noon, Cinderella held Katelyn. Note the balloons overhead in the tube. The kids counted down to Noon.

Balloons and confetti were released. Cinderella put Katelyn down and disappeared when the clock struck Noon. Jordan saw her leave her glass slipper and talked about if off and on the rest of the day!
The kids wearing party hats and blowing party whistles at Noon! It was so fun and the cutest idea.

Afterwards, we went home for a bit and then went over to another classmate's house of Jordan's. This is the same family that has all the pre-k sections over to their home at different times like Halloween. They are always so great about hosting and getting everyone together. It was a pot luck and so much fun as well. The kids ran screaming and playing through the house while the parents did our usual socializing in the kitchen and front room. Good times had by all!
