Katelyn's Birthday Weekend and Her 3rd Birthday Party!

Saturday morning, we took the girls to the Neiman-Marcus/Adolphus Children's Parade downtown. They loved it! It was really cold but I brought blankets to sit on and blankets for them to cover up with.

After the parade, it was party time! Katelyn's 3rd birthday party at Pump It Up. Here she is in her special birthday outfit for her party. The dress has a "3" on it but she is covering it up :)

Katelyn at the head of the line to go into the bounce room. She was so excited and loved being the birthday girl.

Jordan at her sister's birthday party.

Katelyn loved the slides. She would sit on top and look around for a bit before coming down. I think she liked being up high.

Aunt Jill and Mommy going down the slide with Katelyn and her friend.

Katelyn wanted a Little Mermaid birthday party. I had the cake specially made. I love the cake but was so disappointed when I realized too late that they forgot to put "Happy 3rd Birthday Katelyn" on the cake. I was really upset about it and mad at myself that I did not notice when I picked it up. At least her cake on her actual birthday had her birthday message...

She was so excited to blow out her candles and loved everyone singing happy birthday to her.

Another good buddy...

On Sunday to continue Katelyn's birthday celebration, I took Katelyn and Jordan to see the musical "101 Dalmatians." Katelyn loves this movie especially Cruella Deville. My best friend and her two daughters joined us along with Jordan's great friend and her Mommy (also my good friend). We had the best time. Before hand we met at Spaghetti Warehouse for lunch which the girls really enjoyed as well.

Back at home, Daddy did "tick-tock" to Katelyn. Both girls love when he does this - swings them back and forth by their ankles like a clock pendulum.

Katelyn opened her birthday party gifts from her friends. Her Aunt Julie gave her this wonderful craft to do.

Katelyn loved her new Princess Collection book she received.

Are they just too adorable or what?!! My brown-eyed girls.
