Last Day of Prek!

Today is Jordan's last day in prek! Where has the year gone?! Jordan has had a fantastic year and actually told me this morning that she wished it was the first day of kindergarten already. She loves school, her teachers, and her friends. We are so blessed.

When school got out in the early afternoon, Jordan and her buddy went to an after school pizza/Popsicle party at a classmates house. Afterwards, Jordan and her friend had a play date at our house.

One school year later -- on the last day of prek.

In the early evening, Jordan's school had an end of the year school picnic. It was really fun. Blankets were everywhere on the lawn, kids were running around and playing, and parents were socializing and eating. It was a great end of the year event.

One of Jordan's favorite things to do - play in the sandbox! Jordan's shoes were continually brown instead of white throughout the year. My sister, Kara, even commented on one of Jordan's class pictures that couldn't we afford new shoes for Jordan. We did buy new shoes and they continued to be brown -- it was because of the sandbox. My girl had to be in it all the time and told me she would bury her shoes! Oh well -- she had a great time playing with her friends which is the important thing. This is one of the things I will remember about Jordan and her prek year so I had to write about it!
