So we got home after being gone all day to find the Carbon Monoxide alarm going off in our home. We weren't too concerned at first because the dog and cat were walking around and seemed just fine. My husband changed the batteries on the alarm and it went off again. He then changed the batteries for the second time and the alarm continued to go off. CHH then call the nonemergency line for the fire department; they told us to leave our house immediately and the fire department would send someone right out. They did! Needless to say, it was a faulty alarm that had gone bad and the firemen did not find anything. We apologized several times and they could not have been nicer. They said it was their job and reiterated that it was better to be safe.
Anyhow it was really cool to have a huge fire truck parked outside of our house. The girls loved it and loved the gentlemen firemen. One fireman told us about his 3 year old daughter and how much he appreciated his wife! As they were driving off, they tooted their horn and made the girls' day! Thank you Plano Fire Department!!
