Manage Some Fun in a Crazy Busy Weekend

Jordan had one of her classmates over for a playdate. They had a great time playing.

Katelyn doing one of her favorite activities -- squishing the kitty! Got to love Siam; he's the best.

Jordan is my girly-girl. Jordan loves dresses, sometimes skirts are not even good enough. Well my girl comes home on Wednesday and informs us she wants pants for school like some of the other girls. I about fell over and actually was somewhat pained by this because I love her being girly (I'm not but am trying to be more so).

Jordan cracks us up. She let us know this decision she made was due to her PE class. The girls have PE every day. For PE, they take off their jumpers and perform their activities in their shirts and shorts. After PE, they have to put their jumpers back on. Jordan realized the girls who wore pants never had to change clothes before or after PE; they got to exercise in what they had on -- their pants.

After school on Thursday, Jordan's Daddy found the uniform store. He bought our Jordan two new pairs of pants. Our girl was so happy!

I drove her to school on Friday and I made the comment -- "Jordan, I never thought I would see the day when you would want to wear pants instead of a dress" and her reply "Well Mommy, you were wrong." Plain and simply put :)

Saturday while I worked so did the girls. They did a craft (this is what they like to call it -- they will say "Mommy can we do a craft?"). I love Michael's. They have all sorts of Christmas crafts in right now. The girls put sticker decorations on trees for this project. Katelyn loved it.

Saturday, Jordan had her usual dance class. This is one of her best buddies. Her buddy just lost her second tooth! We checked Jordan's and no sign of any of them being loose -- thank goodness -- I'm not ready yet.

Sunday, CHH got the Christmas tree out and put it up in our living room. The girls put some candy canes on the tree. That's it so far!

The sisters wearing some of their new Christmas pajamas (Christmas mice). My favorite Christmas book is "Santa Mouse" so I had to have these pajamas for my girls.

My old dog looked so cute laying in her bed...

Sunday night, I took Jordan to an event at American Girl called Holiday Wishes. It was for girls 6 and up. I could get away with Jordan looking 6 but unfortunately not Katelyn. I hated leaving Katelyn behind.
Jordan got the new Christmas plum colored dress for her doll, Julie. I thought this was cute to get her picture under the ad for the new dress.

We got an excellent table by the window. Jordan and I had great quality time talking and eating dinner together. It was fun.

Jordan filling out the paperwork we were given for the event. It was a story and we filled in the blank lines. It was fun discussing with Jordan what our answers should be.
