This was Katelyn's room from birth until she was 2 years, 11 1/2 months old.

We love this room. It was filled with many of the Disney animals like Bambi and Thumper, Lady from "Lady and The Tramp" along with her puppies, Duchess and Marie from the "Aristocats", etc.

Katelyn presently loves the "101 Dalmatians" movie and we even had some of those dogs on the wall.

Friday, CHH painted over all of these decorations except Tinkerbelle above Katelyn's closet door. He said he wanted one reminder of her "baby room".

Newly painted walls, CHH took apart Katelyn's crib Saturday morning.

The girls enjoyed helping Daddy take apart the crib. They were in charge of putting the screws in the plastic bag. Katelyn was so excited when CHH was taking the crib apart. I was so impressed and proud of my husband that he actually was able to take it apart.
He then moved Katelyn's new furniture into her room on Saturday.

Today the lady who originally painted Katelyn's "baby room" came back and painted Katelyn's new big girl room. This picture is Katelyn just home from school first walking into her room. The lady was still painting the room.

Katelyn is so excited seeing her room for the first time with princesses on the walls.

CHH and Katelyn had in depth discussions for weeks on which princesses to go on Katelyn's walls. For a man who could care-a-less about the decorations throughout the house, he kept me amused having these discussions with her. They decided on four princesses. Of course, we had to have Ariel because she was Katelyn's first favorite princess and the first Disney movie that Katelyn grew to love.

Princess Jasmine with her tiger and monkey, Abu, were also a favorite along with Belle from "Beauty and the Beast."

Katelyn going to bed in her new fabulous room. She loves it. We tucked her in and she asked us to leave and turn off the light! Little toot.
