Today at Katelyn's school, they had their Thanksgiving lunch. A couple of days ago they posted a sign on their classroom door that parents could come join their kids for the lunch.This tore me up. Why? Well because I was in a two day seminar and there was no way I could go. CHH could not go either because of work.
Friday morning I was talking to my sister, Jill, on the phone on the way to my seminar. I told her about the lunch and how I could not go. I told her that I hoped Katelyn was little enough that she would not realize we were not there. I felt bad but there was nothing I could do. Work!
I am sitting at the seminar lunch and my phone starts vibrating in my pocket. I pull out my phone and there is a text from my sister, Jill. I click on it and up comes a photo of my precious Katelyn eating a turkey lunch!!
Yes, I almost cried. Can you say Thank God for sisters?!! My sweet wonderful sister, the fabulous Aunt Jill, went to Katelyn's Thanksgiving lunch. On top of that, she stopped by my house, found our camera, and took photos. I love you Jillynda Ray. Thank you, thank you.
Katelyn and her best buddy. They are a week apart in age and have always been together. They even celebrated their first birthday together with a joint birthday party.

Jill said Katelyn really did not eat much of her food. She also said the teachers threatened if the kids did not eat their lunch they would not get a cupcake. Jill said she thinks they let Katelyn slide because Jill was there. Jill said Katelyn LOVED her cupcake which is apparent I think in this picture.
