Sunday, the girls had a great day. They started the morning out painting these pumpkins I had bought them at Michael's. They love to paint!After painting, we went to breakfast at Denny's with Grandpa, Aunt Julie, Aunt Jill and Uncle Marty. It was a fun family affair and great to see everyone.
After breakfast, CHH headed home to watch the Cowboys game. Because of being sick the past two weeks, I felt like I haven't had quality fun time with my girls. I wanted to have a fun day with them. Because of this, I bravely took the girls to go see the double 3D feature of Toy Story. They loved it. Jordan, of course, sat through both movies with no problem. Katelyn did pretty good. She would stand up occasionally to watch the movie but she lasted for both of them. Of course, popcorn and "Dibs" ice cream helped!
After the movie, I took the girls to Target to get new Barbies. Jordan had received one for her birthday from a friend that was a swimming pool Barbie. She plays with it in the bathtub every night. Katelyn wanted one so I took her to get one. Of course while there, I couldn't leave without getting Jordan another one. Because of this, Katelyn got two and Jordan got another new one (explaining to her she had another brand new one at home and that is why we were even at Target in the first place).
Anyhow both girls were very happy in the bathtub tonight playing with their Barbies. Katelyn was satisfied she was on equal playing field with her sister again! I really did have a fun nice day with my girls. CHH was happy too! I missed them while being sick. It was nice to spend happy healthy time with them!!
