The Mad Scientist

My old dog, Ms. Oscar, was my original baby until my girls came along. Ms. Oscar was not happy about sharing the love with Jordan and Katelyn. However over the last couple of years, she has accepted both girls. She now sleeps every night with Jordan. She actually loves the girls now and they love her in return. This morning I took the above picture. I always walk in to Jordan's room to kiss her good-bye before leaving for work. Most mornings she is sound asleep like today. It was so cute to see her sleeping and Oscar right along side her sleeping as well; I had to take the picture of them.

Jordan is still into making her blanket tents. She made this one in our master bedroom. She then told me she wanted to sleep in her tent and for me to sleep in the bed in the same room. I did so. I told CHH I kept thinking she would wake up and climb into bed with me but she never did. She was so proud the next morning that she slept in her tent the whole night. It was too cute. Side note: We usually sleep upstairs to be close to the girls...especially while they are little. It was nice to sleep in our king size heavenly bed downstairs for the night. Yeah!

Today at camp, she had to dress like a mad scientist. When I told her this, she said "Mommy, I don't want to be a mad scientist, I want to be a happy princess." I then explained to her that "mad" didn't mean angry but "wild and crazy". CHH put his white shirt on her and rolled up the sleeves for her lab coat. She looked adorable. When I left for work, she was saying "I'm wild and crazy."

I added the stethoscope and glasses to her costume. She was so funny.

Tonight when I got home, this is what I found -- Jordan in her fancy glasses, her crown, her gem shoes, and playing with her wand. I walked in the door, she pointed the wand at me and said "poof". She poofed me!
