We had a wonderful Labor Day weekend in Lubbock to celebrate Zack's 9th birthday. I can't believe he is already 9 years old! Jordan and Katelyn loved to play with the cousins. At several points, Jordan and Jacob would run screaming through the house and climb up on top of Zack's bunk beds to the "safety zone".
Of course, Katelyn would not be left out and would run screaming after them and climb up to the top of the bunk beds as well (much to our dismay). Katelyn was so cute trying to get up off the very top rung on to the bed because her little legs weren't quite long enough. I one time wasn't quick enough following them and walked into the room to see Jacob pulling her up on the bed by her arm. My heart stopped for a second but he got her up and Katelyn had the biggest grin on her face. Needless to say it was constant monitoring after that.
Jordan adores her cousins and loves playing with them. It is amusing to see our girls playing with toy snakes and loving it. Jordan wanted to be wherever her cousins were and spent a lot of time just sitting by them playing.
As stated, Katelyn was not to be left out and followed them around constantly. Katelyn is changing so much now and really becoming more in tune to everything. She is a little person now and not much of a baby anymore. She understands so much more, is talking so much more, and seems to do anything and everything Jordan does. I fall more in love each day with her little personality and finding out more about the little person she is becoming. Basically her personality is really coming out now. Of course Jordan continues to be her usual sweet intelligent beautiful self. Jordan is just so sweet and we love that about her. We love our girls!
