Weekend Swimming Lessons and BD Cake

Jordan is taking swimming lessons on the weekend with a couple of her good friends. She is fabulous! She loves it and is doing so well. She really enjoys being with her friends and they are so cute together during the lessons. This past weekend she just amazed me. She was leaping off the pool to the instructor with no help, going underwater to pick a stick up, and kicking and blowing bubbles. I think she will be swimming in no time if we keep it up. She did so well and she did everything her instructor ask her do by herself. Because of this, she got two stickers which she was proud to show off for the pictures.

After swimming and later in the afternoon, I took the girls to get passport photos. CHH and I decided since their birth certificates were stolen (they were in my purse that was stolen) that we need to go ahead and get their passports to make sure no one else is trying to do so. Katelyn was so cute standing on the chair to get her photo. She was so proud.

We then went to order Jordan's birthday cake. I cannot believe my baby is going to be 4 years old! Where has the time gone?! Jordan was so cute ordering her birthday cake. We got her a wonderful cake from a bakery that other Moms have gotten their kids' cakes from. These cakes are so yummy. She picked out the cutest design with pink and blue in it along with roses. We have to add our own decorations to the cake and of course they will be Cinderella decorations. As everyone knows, Cinderella is Jordan's absolute favorite and she wants a Cinderella birthday party. Both girls had so much fun at the bakery and each of them were very happy to leave with a cookie in hand. Jordan held hers in the car and saved it. Katelyn was so thrilled to eat it that she broke it and had a piece of the cookie in each hand. Katelyn went to town on her cookie and I could see the joy in her face while eating it. She is so funny. She thinks she is such a big girl now.

I told CHH about the cake and how much it cost. He just smiled and didn't say a word. Good Daddy! He wants her birthday to be special as much as I do.

CHH always takes Jordan for doughnuts on Saturday. This is their special thing to do together. Katelyn got so upset this past weekend when Jordan and he drove off. She had big tears rolling down her face. CHH said that was the last time without Katelyn. She is big enough now and knows so she gets to go get the doughnuts every Saturday from now on with her Daddy and her sister. I can't wait to see how excited she will be this weekend to get to go.
