Thank Goodness For Rain - We Stayed Home!!

This was my Jordan ready for school last week. She is looking in the mirror and scrunching her face a bit. I thought she looked adorable but she was very clear that she did not want to wear this headband that day.

Side note: Over three weeks at school and I still get a lump in my throat when I drive off. I'm great when she gets out of the car because she is so cute and so happy. My problem is I will glance in the rear view mirror while driving off. I will see my little girl (cuter than anything) carrying this big book bag into the school. She is adorable and looks happy but Mommy sure does hate driving off and leaving her. I miss Katelyn and her so much during the day. Daddy too of course!

Our girls hauled their princess beds up on our bed so they could be more comfortable while watching cartoons Saturday morning.

Jordan's soccer game got canceled on Saturday due to the rain. After dance in the morning and since she did not have soccer, both girls came home and got in their pajamas for the day. They loved it.
Sisters in their new Halloween pajamas. Jordan is wearing stick-on earrings she received at dance.

This picture was right before they accidentally bumped heads while rough housing in our living room. I called them the "Bobo Sisters". Poor Jordan got the worse of it and cried pretty hard. Not a peep from Katelyn. Jordan did get a bruise on her head later in the day. They always wrestle and we know someone is ultimately going to get banged up. They love playing with each other though.

While Katelyn napped, Jordan painted. She loves to paint.

Sunday I took my Dad to the airport. We always miss him when he flies to El Paso for work. I came home to my "snow princess" and "fairy princess". Jordan's library book for the week was "The Snow Princess" so she wanted to dress like one.

My Katie bear doing one of her favorite things -- loving on her kitty. She loves animals and is always hanging on Siam.

It really was a nice weekend because we got to stay home. After the busy Labor Day weekend plus work and all of our activities, it is nice to enjoy our home. My year is the craziest busiest year I have ever had at KC in the 9 years I have worked there. I'm stressed beyond belief with worrying about getting everything done by year end that needs to get done. CHH told someone this weekend that our lives right now are work and the girls. Both girls have swimming lessons, gymnastics, dance and now Jordan has soccer. It is a lot of activities right now but in a weird way it is fun because I love to see how happy they are. The girls enjoy it and we enjoy being with them.

I am looking forward to New Year's Day though with no commitments and everything completed at work that needs to be done!! Yeah!

On another note, my other activity is always out there the Princess Alexa Foundation. The foundation continues to collect costumes for seriously-ill children. They are gearing up to open more closets at other hospitals and continue to forward costumes to children on hospice care. I'm mentioning PAF because Halloween is next month. If you are able, please consider forwarding any new costumes or accessories to me to give to the Foundation. They, as always, are appreciated. I already have my eyes out for good deals! Sales after Halloween are amazing :)
