Katelyn's 5
th birthday is on December 4
th. Two days before, her class celebrate her birthday. On this day, she was able to wear any
outfit, not her school uniform. Here she is with a few classmates before school started on this day.
Upon entering the classroom, the kids always sit and read books initially to get their day started.

Time to celebrate in class. The birthday girls gets to wear this flower tiara.

The candle on the table represents the sun. Katelyn's teacher had Katelyn walked the Earth around the candle for each year of Katelyn's life. While Katelyn did so, I read about Katelyn for that particular year.
Everyone then sings "Happy Birthday" and she "blows" the candle out. It is actually an electric candle so she really just switches it off :)
I then read the class one of Katelyn's favorite books "The Sweet Touch."

CHH and I left, we saw art work on the wall and found Katelyn's. I love it.
