Some of Katelyn's classmates met at a kid's cooking school to make gingerbread houses for the upcoming holiday.
The girls receiving instructions on how to make the gingerbread house and what they could use to do so.
Katelyn really enjoyed herself. Yes, she managed to eat a piece of candy here and there instead of putting all of them on her house :)
Mommy having a great time with her girl!
It was then Jordan's turn. We went to a friend's house to join many of Jordan's classmates to make Nativity Scenes. It was really fun and amazing to do. I thought there was no way she was going to be able to do this when I saw the girls make the figures from scratch. Jordan did a wonderful job as usual though.
Jordan with a couple of her good buddies.
The bases for the bodies of Joseph and Mary were built.
Putting them together and making a baby Jesus as well.
Jordan's creations - Mary , Joseph, Baby Jesus, Two Lambs. She did a great job. We can't wait to see them after they are baked.
I had the best time with Jordan.
Jordan with more of her friends.
Jordan was so cute. She grabbed her friends hands and started dancing around with her. Her friend had the biggest smile on her face at Jordan.
Late Saturday night, it was my families turn for our Holiday Carriage Ride. Aunt Jill, Uncle Marty, and Grandpa joined us. Here they are getting ready to get on.
Jordan was the first one in and talked away with the driver.

We love this year with the Texas Armadillo.

Sunday for church both girls sang in the church choir. This was the girls getting ready to leave for church.

Katelyn stood all the way on the left side.
Listening to the minister.
Performing. It was so cute and I was so proud. Uncle Marty and Aunt Jill's nephew - Katelyn's cousin by marriage - also performed.
Jordan's turn. Jordan performed later that night at a special service.
The performance with Jordan was amazing. They had Jordan's age sing and then they added the youth choir and the main choir to the stage. It was a truly amazing sight to see everyone singing and it was BEAUTIFUL. I loved it.
Grandpa and Jordan after her performance.
