1st Grade Mother/Daughter Tea and PreK Holiday Party

The big event for first grade is the Mother/Daughter Tea.  This takes the place of a Holiday Party for the first graders.  Above is the room all decorated for the tea.

There was plenty of food and treats set up for the girls and their Moms.

For the Mother/Daughter Tea, a real ballerina from the Dallas Ballet was invited to perform for the girls.  Jordan loved her.

The girls sang a song for the Moms.

The Headmistress of the school came and read the girls a story.  Jordan loves stories.

Katelyn came to the party when school ended and she got in the picture with Jordan and her friends.

Jordan and her buddy from her Creme days.  This is her oldest friend at her school.

The Moms then stood up and we sang a song back to the girls.  It was the song by Martina McBride -- In a Mother's Eyes.  I can't get through it...

Jordan and me -- she is a great hugger and will hug me often.  I love those hugs.

Katelyn had her Holiday Party at the same time as the Mother/Daughter Tea.  I got these pictures from a photographer who attended the PreK party.

I snuck out of the Mother/Daughter Tea for a minute and ran downstairs to get a quick picture with Katelyn.

Katelyn was outside and saw me when I first got to the Tea.

The girls made really cute windows with snow in them for their craft.

The party is over! Time to go home.
