Diorama

Jordan had a Diorama project due at school. The project was to use a scene from a Caldecott Medal and Honor Book. Jordan picked "Mirette on the High Wire" by Emily Arnold, a 1993 Caldecott Medal winner. Jordan claims she "LOVES THE STORY"!

I went to Michael's and bought all the supplies. Jordan cut and pasted the sides in her cardboard shoe box and the background to her Diorama. She used Polly Pockets for her people. All was going well until it was time to put the Great Bellini on the "high wire" in the box. Our glue did not stick! Jordan's Daddy left the house at 9:30 PM to go get super glue at the local Wal-greens. He came back and started helping us get the Great Bellini to stick.

This is Jordan when Daddy left to go to the store for glue. She was so tired and it was a school night.

All done! Daddy stuck Bellini's head to the roof! :)

Jordan the next morning getting ready to leave for school with her diorama.

Walking into her classroom and stopping to show some of her friends her project....

The girls were all so cute wanting to look at Jordan's project. She was so proud to explain to them what she had done!

Jordan showing me her project now sitting on top of her school locker.
