November Weekend

One of Katelyn's favorite things to do lately is to grab her books, sit on the couch under a blanket and look through them. She loves for me to wrap and tuck the blanket in around her.
My girls relaxing Saturday morning.

They are so funny in that they both wanted to get in our bed. They were laying there giggling. It was pretty cute.

Aunt Jill stopped by this weekend and the girls were thrilled, as always, to see her.

Jordan and Aunt Jill sharing a story.

Aunt Jill loving on Katelyn.

Saturday, Jordan, Katelyn, Jill and I met Jolie and Ali for breakfast. We were going to watch Ali's last soccer game and met beforehand. Jill had some hot chocolate with us and went on her own way. We went on to Ali's soccer game. Do you love the pink soccer balls?!!

I love this picture. I think it so cute with both girls sitting on the pink soccer balls chatting.

Katelyn had a great time as well. She had her princess sunglasses on and took off her shoes (as usual).

I don't know why but I love this picture of Katelyn -- she looks like Miss. Pris to me.

After the game, Ali's soccer team had a party at a park. Jordan and Ali had fun climbing on this turtle. While they are on this turtle, little sister was climbing the rock wall!

Ali and Jolie gave Jordan glitter sticks for her hair. When we got home on Saturday, she covered her hair in glitter. She had a blast. She had gold, pink, and blue glitter in her hair and kept telling her Daddy and me how pretty she looked. It was funny!!

CHH was sick all weekend. I think he caught what Katelyn had last week. He pretty much slept all weekend and I think is finally feeling better tonight. It came in waves.

Katelyn this weekend continued to amaze me. I cannot begin to comment how much she is changing. It is amazing how much she seems to be doing so right now when she is approaching two years old. I remarked to CHH this weekend that several times she talked to us in sentences! Of course one sentence was her pulling on the handle of the freezer and saying "Daddy I want ice cream"! This morning when I got her out of her crib I asked her how she was and she answered -- "I'm fine Mommy". She really is communicating so much more.

Katelyn is so funny as well. She fell of this little jumpy zebra that she has and was laying on her back. CHH, Jordan and I made a big deal about it and each of us kissed her and asked if she was OK. After that, several times tonight she would go lay on the floor in the living room, give a fake cry, and say "Mommy". She wanted me to come over, pick her up, cuddle her and ask if she was OK. She did it over and over. I can only imagine what she will do at school tomorrow!

Jordan also made me laugh today. Aunt Jill bought her the new Tinkerbell movie. She loves it. In fact after she watched it today, she had to dress up in her Tinkerbell outfit (don't forget the Princess Alexa Foundation -- I had to get that in there!). She had her wings on and was flying all over the house. Anyhow what made me laugh was during the movie Tinkerbell finds this coin with the Queen's face on it. Tinkerbell imitates the face -- it is the hoity-toity scrunched up look. Jordan imitated the same look and she started laughing. She couldn't stop laughing. Finally she said, "Mommy, I can't stop laughing". I started laughing with her. She really couldn't stop laughing. That is the first time I have seen her not be able to stop laughing. I love her and her sister -- their Daddy too!

Also Happy Birthday Aunt Nancy!! Aunt Nancy's birthday was on Saturday. She is a wonderful Aunt and is not only good to her own kids but to me and my sisters as well. We love her!! She is a great person.
