Katelyn and I met Aunt Jill and C. at IHOP for breakfast Saturday morning. This was Katelyn's first time to meet a friend of her own for an activity. She was so cute and was priceless throughout breakfast. She so enjoyed "talking", holding hands, and interacting with C.

After breakfast, we went to IKEA to meet Crys, Alexa's Mom. As Jill and I stood in front of IKEA, we saw a tall beautiful blond lady walking with an adorable little boy and we knew instantly it was Crys and Zachary. After hugs and hellos, we pulled our car around to Crys' and unloaded all the wonderful costumes people sent for the
Princess Alexa Foundation. Everyone, I cannot begin to tell you how excited and appreciative Crys was. Thank you, thank you!!
Side note: Please do continue to keep the foundation in mind and remember all the great work they are trying to do for sick children. I count my blessings for my girls' health. I am so lucky and blessed to be able to hug my babies every day.
After meeting Crys, Jill and I went inside IKEA with Katelyn and C. for a brief stop to the kids section. Both kids instantly found these gigantic stuff animals they wanted. C. was walking around with a hippo and Katelyn (like her sister) loves elephants. It was so cute both of them dragging these animals around that were almost as big as them. Jill and I both knew we were going to have to purchase them. Jill is so good because not only was she babysitting C., she ended up buying him a gift! We could not leave without the hippo for him though! We loaded both kids in a cart because IKEA just doesn't let you go to check out. You have to go all through the store to get out. Katelyn and C. were so cute in the cart laughing and hugging their animals.

When I got home from IKEA, I found Jordan dressed in her Ariel outfit. As always, she loves
to play dress up!! She is so darn cute as well. CHH and I then left both girls with Aunt Kara (yes, she is back - yeah!!) and went to the Studio Movie Grill for lunch and to see the new James Bond movie,
Quantum of Solace. It was good (even though I didn't get some of it) and we had a nice time. It was fun to be with my sweetie.

Saturday evening, Jordan met three girlfriends for
dinner at the
American Girl store. We have been wanting to do this for a long time and had this scheduled for awhile now. All four girls had a really nice time and were so cute together. In this picture, Jordan is test driving the double stroller with the
Bitty Twins in it. This is what Santa may bring for Katelyn this year so Jordan was checking it out for baby sister since she was not with us.

The store is so cute with dolls in glass cases on display everywhere.

Jordan and Ali waiting for Sarah and O. Oh - quick funny story. Jordan's doll is
Samantha. It is the only AG doll she has and she loves her. Upon arrival at AG, I went to get Jordan out of the car and picked up her doll. The head totally falls off! Jordan is asleep and doesn't see this. I look at Jolie with I'm sure quite a look on my face. Jolie being the efficient one as usual grabs Samantha and says she will take care of it. Before you know it, she is in the store talking to the manager. Jordan is now awake and crying because she sees the manager holding Samantha but she doesn't know why. All she knows is she does not have her doll. Jolie returns and told Jordan the manager was going to clean up Samantha. Jolie then tells me on the side that the good news is they will give us a new doll if they cannot fix Samantha. The bad news is they are all out of Samantha's now since she is retiring this year; however, Jordan can get a new Ruthie in exchange. As stated, Samantha is Jordan's favorite and I knew I couldn't leave without Samantha even with no head! Thank goodness the manager came back out with Samantha and her head reattached. They fixed her and she looked good as new. Thank goodness!! Thanks Jolie as always...

Jordan reading her doll's menu for dinner to Samantha.

The girls are playing "Ariel" and combing their dolls hair with forks.

All the girls talking and greeting O. when she arrives.

Jordan and O. talking.

All four girls at dinner. I think they really did have a nice time. It was hectic and noisy with the place filled with little girls but so fun at the same time.

When we were walking out, Jolie wanted to go look at a potential Christmas gift. Chris and I were talking and observing the girls. I love these next two pictures looking so serious in their conversation. I wonder what they were talking about.

Jordan is always talking with her hands. Too cute. We had a nice time as stated.
It was a fun filled busy Saturday!!
