Last Friday, April 3rd, a friend called me at work and offered free tickets to Six Flags for that night. I called CHH and we decided to go and take the girls. The girls were so excited. Their first ride (of course!) was the merry-go-round. Not one time, mind you, but several!
Please note Jordan is riding "Black Beauty". I just read her a short version of the story so she picked this horse and called him "Black Beauty".

Our girls on the Ferris Wheel. It actually was pretty high for me and I kept telling them to not stand up! They loved looking out.

Jordan was making one of her silly faces for the camera and, Katelyn copied her sister!

Katelyn loved this ride. She was laughing and having a great time as it twirled them around.

Mommy and her girls leaving Six Flags. Jordan's face is behind her Cold Stone Creamery Ice Cream.

Saturday, the girls had their ballet pictures taken for their upcoming recital. This is Katelyn's very best buddy at school. They love each other.

The two year olds all dressed for dance pictures. I think they are so cute. Katelyn was so proud to be in her outfit.

Katelyn and her best buddy!

Katelyn cracked me up watching herself dance in the mirror.

Jordan and her good friend, Sarah, waiting to get their pictures taken.

Jordan is showing me how she posed for her ballet picture. I think she looks adorable.

After ballet pictures, we had just enough time for a quick lunch with Sarah and her Mom at McDonald's and then we all went to a birthday party. Both girls were invited to the party and Katelyn loved it. She was so happy to be able to do gymnastics with the "big" kids. On the way in, she looked up at me and said "I not little, I big girl." On Thursday nights when Jordan has gymnastics with her friends, I have to tell Katelyn she can't participate because she is too little hence the comment. I wish she could take gymnastics with her 4 year old friends!

I loved this place. We had never been to this gym before but loved it when we arrived. The girls had the best time.

Katelyn after eating some of her cake and ice cream. She was only interested in the balloon. It was a big deal to get a balloon.

Aunt Kara came into town so CHH and I went on a dinner date. We went to our favorite restaurant and had a great time while Kara babysat the girls for us. The girls had a blast with Aunt Kara and made cookies.

Jordan and the cookies! They were so excited when they saw their Aunt Kara. My girls are lucky in that they have 3 Aunts that love them. Of course, my girls reciprocate the love.
