Cute towels from Ali and Jolie and other Pics!

This past weekend at Jordan's swimming lessons, they learned how to ride on a raft and what to do if they fell off the raft while out in the water some place. It was a serious lesson taught by their teacher but to Jordan it was all fun.

Jordan and her friend, Alyssa, after swimming lessons on Saturday.

Jordan swimming in the pool after coming down the slide.

Later on in the afternoon, I took Jordan back to the bookstore. They had an event where you bring your American Girl doll and they talked about the newest American Girl book, Chrissa. At the store, each girl was asked to come sit up front and talk about their doll. I was so proud of Jordan not being afraid and getting up there and talking about Samantha.

Some of the girls at the event... They talked about the Chrissa books, made headbands (Jordan is wearing hers in the picture) and ate cookies. Jordan had a great time.

Saturday early evening, I took both girls back to the place where Jordan takes swimming lessons. The pool is open for an hour for a family swim. Katelyn really wanted to go swimming so I wanted to do this for her. Both Jordan and Katelyn had a blast. I took Jordan's floaties off in the pool and, she really can swim now. She swims underwater very well and does a fabulous dolphin kick. Katelyn was so cute; she would lay on her back and float with her floaties on. She thought she was the coolest!

Saturday after Katelyn went to bed, Jordan wanted to paint. She had a blast painting these Easter eggs.

My family! We stayed in on Sunday and had breakfast at home. Katelyn has a persistent cough so I was a little worried about her. The girls love cooking breakfast. Jordan makes the pancake batter and Katelyn does the eggs. Jordan cracked the eggs for the pancakes on her own! No shells! Katelyn did a great job as well stirring her eggs.

Thank you Ali and Jolie!! Tonight, the girls were pleasantly surprised with these wonderful towels. Jordan's is a flower (she loves picking flowers) and Katelyn's is the most adorable puppy dog. Both girls were so excited opening their boxes. We actually have something for Ali and it is sitting on the floor in my bedroom to mail. I guess I better get it mailed now!

Jordan after her bath tonight... Too cute!
It has been an interesting week so far. I once again realize how fortunate I am to have a wonderful supportive husband and family. Side note: my assistant opened my mail today and couldn't get into a package. She cut the package open and cut off the bottom of a dress I had just bought for my little girl that was in the package. I walked in from going to the Dallas Bar and the first thing she hands me is two pieces of material. She instantly starts talking and telling me how she was going to go out and replace it. She felt so bad. She's new and does not know us very well yet. All I could do was laugh and of course, told her to not worry about replacing it. I appreciate her for her honesty and how nice she is. It is nice to be appreciated... It makes me know to make sure and do so for others.
