Jordan's favorite color has always been pink. I think it is because I dressed her in pink most of the time her first 2 years of life. I still actually dress both girls in pink a lot. Anyhow Jordan lately has stated her favorite colors are pink and purple. CHH's favorite color is purple. I asked Jordan why purple is now her favorite color thinking she would say because it is Daddy's favorite color. Instead she said "Because it is pretty Mommy". Too cute.
Jordan and Katelyn are really beginning to play together a lot now. You can see Jordan tickeling Katelyn in this picture. Katelyn adores her older sister. Jordan is a great big sister. She hugs on Katelyn and shares her toys with her (most of the time). The other day Katelyn did something and I asked her if she wanted to go in time out. At 20 months, Katelyn doesn't quite get what this means and she nods her head "yes". Jordan heard me and said "Mommy she didn't mean it. Don't put her in time out". Good big sister!
Daddy's home! He arrived from Japan. He's tired but happy to be home. I can't wait to go with him to pick up the girls after work. They are going to be so excited when they see him.
Also I got a great birthday card from my sister Kara today. I showed it to Jordan and told her it was my birthday. She said "Mommy I didn't get you a present." I told her the best present in the world is that she is my daughter. She smiled and said "That's nice Mommy". So sweet. It's true. I have a great family and I love them so much. I'm blessed.
