We Did Not Make It Out BC of Snow!

This morning Jordan dressed in her Valentine's outfit for school. Her school was having a Valentine's Party for the Dad's and Daughters. Jordan was so excited. After her party, we were suppose to leave for Arizona.

Well we woke up to this! It was beautiful.

We leave pretty early to get Jordan to school on time. It is still kind of dark out in this picture.

Jordan with a snowflake about to land on her nose!

Our house as it continued to snow. It snowed all day!

Jordan's school ended up closing early at Noon and because of this the pre-k Valentine's Party was canceled. I felt so bad for Jordan. I knew she would be upset. She told me tonight that when her teacher told them, she cried.

CHH went to pick her up and told me he was going to take her to Purple Cow as a treat. Several Moms started emailing and said for the girls to get together for lunch with the Dads. I called CHH and told him. Six of the little girls, their Dads and a couple of the Moms went to Fudruckers together for lunch.

It was perfect. The Dad's gave the girls the flowers they were suppose to give them today at the party. Someone brought them Sprinkles cupcakes and they got to eat at Fudruckers. They had a wonderful time and still celebrated with their Dads. My friend texted me pictures from Fudruckers while I was at work. I about cried when I saw the pics. I was so happy that Jordan still got her Valentine Day "Party".

I am also glad I got her a Valentine dress when I saw the above picture. She specifically asked for one so I bought it for her. If she hadn't thought of it, I would not have done so. Most of the girls in the picture have Valentine outfits so I'm glad Jordan had hers as well.

When I got home from work, CHH and Jordan had built this snowman. This is Jordan's first snowman!

Yes, Jordan even does cartwheels outside in the snow!

Katelyn told me it was too cold outside and she did not like getting her hands wet!

Jordan and her snowman. Because of all the snow, our flight was cancelled tonight. We have rescheduled for tomorrow and I'm praying we get out. I so bad want to see my Dad, my Uncles and My Aunts. It is so rare for everyone to be together.

Flying to Arizona Tomorrow and Can't Wait!

Jill and I are flying to Arizona tomorrow with the girls and CHH is staying at home taking care of Ms. Oscar and Siam. Jill and I went on the same trip last year to visit our Dad. We are so excited this year because all of our Uncles (my Dad's brothers), our Aunts (my Dad's sister and sister-in-law's), and my Grandma's sister, Aunt Vic will be there. We also get to see our cousins Janice, Troy, Ethan and Luke. It is going to be great to see so many family members. It has been many years since my Dad and his siblings have all been together at the same time. I can't wait to get pictures :) Below are pictures taken last February from our visit. Jordan looks the same to me but I can tell Katelyn is a year older. So cute both of them.

Chuck E. Cheese with Family

We went to Chuck E Cheese for Katelyn and for her to have a playdate with her "cousin" Logan. The funny thing is I do not have any pictures of Katelyn -- she was running all over having a blast!

Birthday Parties' Weekend and Super Bowl XLIV

After ballet on Saturday, the girls attended a birthday party. They loved the dance floor with the disco ball and bubbles.

Jordan having fun on the slide.

The birthday party was "Ruby and Max". My friend, Amy, made all the decorations for her daughter's birthday party. They were awesome. Katelyn with Ruby.

Saturday night, we went to a surprise 50th birthday party for a friend of ours. Jordan made him a card and a bracelet. Here she is giving him his birthday card.

The theme of the party was "70's" since the birthday boy grew up in the 70's. CHH and I dressed up as requested!

Jordan with two of her school friends at the birthday party.

Katelyn had fun playing the piano with the same girls.

Sunday - Super Bowl Day! We stayed home all day -- yahoo. Pajamas for us girls all day long. It was great. The girls did their Valentine's for their classes. Katelyn helped by eating one of the suckers for her Valentine's - ha!

Jordan was so diligent as usual signing her cards. She had to do 36 Valentine's for all the pre-k classes. Jordan told me she needed to group them in 12's. I asked her how many groups she needed and she told me "3"! I then asked her how many kids were in her class and she said 12 including her. I asked her why she needed 12 for her class and she said she wanted one for her as well :)

Jordan with her Disney Princess Valentines. For Jordan's school, the only thing allowed is the actual Valentine -- no extras like candy, stickers, pencils, etc.

Katelyn with her Tinkerbelle Valentine's. Katelyn's school allows extras so Katelyn is giving Valentine's with suckers.

We made our usual breakfast Sunday morning. This time Katelyn wanted blue pancakes and Jordan wanted pink. Katelyn made both sets because Jordan refused to help until she finished her Valentine's. I was proud of Jordan for being diligent in wanting to finish her project instead of needing a break so I didn't try to persuade her to help with the pancakes even though I know she loves to make them.

CHH is giving Katelyn a bite of bacon while Katelyn is stirring the blue and pink pancakes at the same time.

Later on in the day, my girls were cuddled together watching something. I loved how Jordan had her arm around Katelyn so yes, I had to take a picture :) Sisters.

CHH got to watch his whole Super Bowl without us interfering! He did not really care who won. Final Score: New Orleans Saints 31, Indianapolis Colts 17.
