October 14th to 16th Hyatt Lost Pines

For Fall break, we went with several families from the girls' school to one of our most favorite places, Hyatt Lost Pines. We went here last year for Fall break with several of the same families. Above, Jordan and Katelyn are with a few of their friends upon arrival at the hotel. Everyone was so excited.

Everyone immediately went out to the pool to go swimming.

Hyatt Lost Pines always has face painting at various times. My girls love it.

Back at the pool swimming with friends.

When it got dark, the kids at dinner on the lawn and watched a movie. The hotel always provides huge blue towels to sit on along with popcorn and water.

Some of the Mom along with Katelyn and me.

At the hotel, there was an Indian wedding. The hotel left fliers in the rooms so the guests would know. We all went outside to watch the wedding procession. It was an incredible event.

The kids could hear the music playing and started dancing.

When the procession of the wedding party went by us, they had the kids come join them. You can kind of see the girls through these men in tan coats. The kids walked with the wedding party dancing as they went. It was adorable.

Here comes the groom on a Texas Longhorn.

After the wedding, the kids ventured over to the carriage rides offered at the resort.

The Hyatt Lost Pines always has various activities throughout the day for the kids to do. This time they had tied-dyed t-shirts. The girls had a blast making them.

Katelyn really getting into making her shirt.

Katelyn's shirt. She did a fantastic job.

The kids then walked over to see the Texas Longhorns and hear about them. The Longhorns are named T-Bone and Ribeye. The owners assured some of the kids these were pets and would never be eaten. My girls still do not realize where hamburger meat comes from. Katelyn cried recently when she realized we were eating shrimp and they use to be alive. CHH and I did not say a word about the Chick-fil-A nuggets our girls love or burgers.

Moms and kids enjoying ice cream from the ice cream shop at the hotel. The ice cream always reminds me of Ernest. He is a man that works at the hotel who handles the luggage. Ernest always greats us when we arrive and will stop to chat with us when we are getting ice cream. We love going to the Hyatt Lost Pines and find Ernest to say hello.

Time to go home. On our way out. We had a wonderful weekend!!
