Happy 7th Birthday Jordan Christina! September 28, 2011

My beautiful 7 year old with her sister on Jordan's birthday morning.

Aunt Jill arrives to say Happy Birthday.

Jordan with her sea creature party theme decorations.

Two of Jordan's good friends arrive to spend the day with Jordan.

Jordan at 7 years old

Jordan and her dear friend. These two are growing up together.

Jordan's "twin". They share the same birthday and are classmates.

Some of Jordan's classmates and another friend's birthday party. Jordan had a blast attending a classmates birthday party in the morning. It was a slide/trampoline place and she really enjoyed it.

Jordan's birthday party was in the afternoon. She wanted her birthday party at the movie theater to go see the new movie, "Dolphin Tale". How perfect was that. Jordan really is infatuated with dolphins, whales, and all sorts of sea creatures right now.

Another one of Jordan's dear friends who is friends with Katelyn as well.

Dolphin cupcakes. Jordan did not want a birthday cake for this party. She wanted cupcakes instead.

Watching Dolphin Tale starring Harry Connick Jr., Ashley Judd and Morgan Freedman.

Jordan eating pizza after the movie.

Gift bags for her friends. They received dolphin barrettes, a candy cane sucker with a dolphin sticker on it, and an "Ally the Dolphin Fairy" Rainbow Magic book.

Singing Happy Birthday to Jordan. Love that Katelyn is holding the lighter... Glad it has a safety on it.

Blue lips and teeth for everyone :)

Friends enjoying the cupcakes.

Look at my sweet Katelyn. Blue everywhere.

This was Katelyn after her sister's birthday party!

My sister, Jill, is pointing at the picture of me pregnant with Jordan hanging in my bathroom. Jill and Marty are going to wait to find out if their baby is a boy or girl. Jill noticed the picture and said her stomach and its shape looked a lot like mine in the picture. Is it a girl?!!

Our cat, Siam, just cracks me up. If there is any open box in the house, he is sitting in it.

My baby showing me a birthday card from her Aunt Barbara and Uncle Mark. She is wearing a t-shirt made for her birthday by her "Aunt" Kami - Uncle Marty's sister.

A homemade birthday card from a friend.

Presents....

More excitement on Jordan's actual birthday. We went to her favorite restaurant, Hibashi, for her birthday dinner.

Uncle Marty, Aunt Jill, Grandpa, Jordan and Katelyn at Hibashi's for Jordan's 7th birthday dinner.

Mommy and her girls.

Katelyn always cracks me up. Smart girl -- she is scared of the fire so she always stands back.

Birthday cake at the restaurant for Jordan.

The staff singing Happy Birthday to Jordan. She loved it and was so thrilled.

Blowing out her birthday candle for the 2nd time today.

When we got back to the house, we celebrated Jordan's birthday with an actual birthday cake from us. She wanted a cookies and creme ice cream birthday cake.

Sweet girl enjoying her birthday cake.

Jordan got earrings for her birthday. She really wanted some.

One of her most favorite gifts - an aquarium lava lamp. She loves lava lamps right now and really wanted this one with the floating fish.

My girl had a wonderful birthday.

7 years ago today God blessed me with one of my greatest gifts in life. If someone could have told me how much I would love her, I would not have even begun to comprehend it. It truly is a love with no boundries.

Jordan your smile lights up my days. When you smile, it shows in your beautiful chocolate brown eyes. They really do twinkle.

Your laugh is infectious. You bring the biggest grins to your father's and my face when you crack yourself up. You have the cutest laugh and it will tickle us to no end when we hear you laughing about something.

You are kind hearted. You are so good to others. You are good to your baby sister (most of the time :)). You always seem to have a compliment for someone else to make them feel good.

You love, love, love your animals. I often find you carrying around your dog, Panda, or simply sitting on the ground hugging him. Your cat, Siam, will sleep with you many nights cuddled up beside you. You are his heater :)

You have now discovered the joy of reading. You are reading all the time. We are constantly taking you to the bookstore or ordering online new books. Your Daddy and I say if you read it, we will always buy you more. No is not in our vocabulary when it comes to buying you new books to read.

You are so intelligent. Math comes so easy to you right now. I'm not surprised. Your Daddy and your Grandpas are really good at math. I enjoy math too. You remember details about stories and can recite songs word for word. Your intelligence is shown in so many ways.

You still love to sing and dance. I have filmed your sister and you many times dancing around our kitchen or singing some new song you have learned. You are an excellent dancer.

You are a great gymnast. Classmates are amazed by your back bends and walk overs.

Your favorite things this year were your Webkins (introduced to you by your Great Uncle Lonnie), panda bear collection, sea creatures like dolphins and whales, and the Rainbow Magic Fairy Books. You are nuts for these books.

Today you tell me you want to be a vet when you grow up. Your Daddy and I just want you to be happy and have passion for what you do.

Jordan, we love you. Happy 7th Birthday my sweet girl.
