Royal Caribbean - Western Caribbean Cruise!!

Mommy and Katelyn boarding the ship in Galveston. CHH and I said this is our favorite moment of the trip -- the happiness that we are there and the trip is beginning!

Ready for bed on our first night on the ship.

2nd day - Cruising the Gulf of Mexico. CHH and I were so happy. We love Royal Caribbean and we love cruising with them. This trip is our 3rd time on this particular ship.

First formal night! Jordan, Katelyn and Mommy.

CHH's Aunt from Japan came on the cruise with us. The girls love their Aunt Mitsuko. Grinny (Aunt Mitsuko's sister) and Papa were on the cruise with us as well -- all the way from Florida.

Katelyn being silly for photos.

Every night in the Carmen dining room we had the most wonderful meals (breakfast too actually!). Royal Caribbean's people are awesome, so professional, and nice. The food was wonderful!

Tuesday, March 8th, CHH and I celebrated our 7 year wedding anniversary!! I love you sweetie!

Every night after dinner, we went to the Coffee Bar in the Royal Promenade. We loved it. The girls would get milk and cookies. CHH and his Aunt would sometimes grab a sandwich. I loved sitting back and drinking the coffee.

Always a bonus in the trips - towel animals. Katelyn was thrilled our first one was a dinosaur!

Katelyn kissing dino :)

What a view! I loved waking up to this. I have never slept better. The ship rocked me to sleep every night. The girls loved the balcony and enjoyed the view as well. Yes, I kept a definite eye on them while out there though!

Does the picture above surprise anyone?! Yes, we went out to the pool after breakfast to check the temperature to see if we wanted to go swimming. CHH stuck his hand in the pool and Katelyn copied him. She promptly fell in! Swimming lessons have helped though!! She came up and CHH was able to grab her. He was getting ready to dive in after her.

Bulent! We had met Bulent on our last cruise a year ago. We were thrilled to see him. Jordan loved him then and loved him now. He was a Head Waiter (?) on our last cruise and had since been promoted to being over the Carmen Dining room. Good job Royal Caribbean! Great choice. Bulent came to our table every night to visit the girls on this trip. He was so great to them once again.

Incredible displays all the time on the ship.
Grinny and her granddaughters out by the pool.

Jordan and her Great Aunt Mitsuko.

Jordan has the best time swimming in the pool almost every day.

Of course, the girls had their usual ice cream out by the pool (several times) every day. This time they were able to get strawberry/chocolate twists which they thought were awesome.

Mommy having a blast out at the pool with her family :)

Jordan's favorite towel pet - an elephant!

My sleeping beauties. They slept well on the ship! Katelyn has a faint bruise on her cheek. She bumped a chair at the Chinese Buffet the night before we left. My poor girl.

Every morning when the girls first woke up they would play with Play-Doh out on the balcony. They love to do this while on vacation. They also enjoyed playing with bubbles as well.
Arriving at our first port-of-call, Roatan, Honduras.

The girls in Roatan, Honduras.

Aunt Mitsuko, Grinny, Jordan, Katelyn and I in front of our ship, Voyager of the Seas.

Shopping in the Roatan market place.

On the streets in Roatan.

We walked by this cemetery and Jordan wanted to stop. She is fascinated with Heaven right now and the spirit. Lots of questions from our girl all the time on this topic. She also continues to talk to God. She is so cute. You will see her lips moving and you will ask her what she is doing and she will reply "talking to God."

Katelyn and Jordan next to the shops on the pier.

My sweetie is so good. He patiently sits and waits on me while I look around the shops :)

Family photo in front of the Voyager in Roatan, Honduras.

Lots of fun pool time and hot tub time while cruising.

The girls loved eating lunch (hot dogs, hambugers, pizza, etc.) out by the pool every day.

I took this picture to remind me that Jordan is 5 years old on this trip.

My girls on the Royal Promenade on the ship.

I took this picture to remind Katelyn is 3 years old on this vacation.

Katelyn and her Daddy enjoying time in the Coffee Bar on the Royal Promenade.

My girls had so much fun in the room each night. They were both playing and laughing together on this night.

My brown-eyed baby.

We arrived in Costa Maya, Mexico. Our ship is behind Jordan. Once again, the weather was beautiful.

Shopping in Costa Maya.

Katelyn shopping as well. She got two snakes -- one for her and one for her friend, John. He loves animals/reptiles/etc. like she does.

Relaxing, yet again, out by the pool. Fun, fun.

CHH and his Dad.

Another awesome Royal Caribbean crew person -- our Head Waiter for this trip. Rodrigo. He was so great to our girls. Every night he brought them a special dessert. He would call them Chocolate Storm, Chocolate Volcano, Chocolate Hurricane, etc. I think the girls got a kick out of the names as much as the wonderful special desserts. Jordan made Rodrigo a special picture.

Our Waiter is the best waiter we have ever had. Vincent Lewis is incrediable. Every night he brought the girls a bowl of fruit right when we sat down. He got their food out quickly as well. He not only knew how to handle and treat children but the adults as well. He cracked me up because the first night I asked him what he thought was the best choice for my dinner. He picked it for me and wrote it down -- no indecisions. The rest of the trip went that way. Very decisive and every so professional. I wish we had this great of service every where we went when we go out to eat. Amazing!

Third port-of-call, Cozumel, Mexico! There were great shops right on the pier next to the ship. It was fun walking around.

Grinny and her sister in Cozumel, Mexico.

Jordan is actually getting a lecture from her Daddy in this picture. She wondered off after CHH called out to her to come back. Of course, like any parent, it scares him big time one of them may get lost. He is giving her the "if you get lost lecture" and what it would do to us to not have her in our lives.

Jordan and her Daddy in front of the Voyager. The Royal Caribbean ship, Freedom of the Seas, was docked right behind the Voyager.

Mommy and her girls in front of the Voyager and the Freedom of the Seas. While in Cozumel, the girls got cowgirl hats. Katelyn wanted purple and Jordan wanted pink. They also got wooden guitars.

This was so funny and great. As soon as they saw this man, they started "playing" their guitars with him.
Cozumel, Mexico -- View from our balcony.

Jordan and Katelyn met two boys on the trip that they loved playing with each day in the pool. Here Jordan is with Andrew.

Andrew and Jonathan, two brothers the girls met on the cruise.

The brothers with Katelyn.

The girls enjoying the view and their guitars.

This wonderful man saw the girls and proceeded to make them paper roses.

Katelyn in the Crow's Nest on the ship. This area had an incredible view of the ship and the pool area.

Our last full day on the ship was spent cruising from Cozumel, Mexico across the Gulf of Mexico back to Galveston, TX. The ship was moving pretty fast and therefor it was cold and windy out by the pool. Because of this, we spent the day inside enjoying the ship. We didn't mind in the least because it gave us time to do various different activites. While CHH and Katelyn took a nap, Jordan and I went to the Coffee Bar and then the library on the ship. She wanted to sit in the library and watch her I-Pod. I had the best time reading my book (something I never have time to do right now) and being with her. Jordan loved the library on the ship.

The girls saying good-bye to Bulent. What a gentleman. CHH and I were so appreciative for his graciousness towards our family and us. IT WAS A WONDERFUL FAMILY VACATION!!!!
