Little Stinker

She won't go to bed. She sneaks out. We send her back. Over and over it happens. Last night, I sent her to bed again and she was crying -- saying she was scared. I walked back into our bedroom a little while later and this is what I found sitting in the corner - Katelyn! She was in the corner covered in a blanket -- just sitting -- to be in our room. I felt bad and went and layed down with her and cuddled with her. I figure if she is that scared to come sit in our room and hide in the corner just to be with us then I'm going to go be with her. Little stinker.

Crazy Sock Day!

Thursday, April 1st (April Fool's Day) at Jordan's school was Crazy Sock Day. She was so exited to wear her mismatched colorful socks to school. When I dropped her off, I saw her hugging and showing the head of the lower school her socks. When I drove out of the school parking lot and glanced in my rear view mirror, she was still talking to the head lady. It was adorable to see how excited she was.

Happy Easter 2010

Finding what the Easter Bunny brought them.

The Bunny brought Jordan two new movies "Barbie in a Mermaid Tale" and "Strawberry Shortcake Berryfest Princess". Katelyn got "The Princess and the Frog". Jordan is really into the Barbie movies right now. Katelyn likes anything her sister is watching!

Mommy and her girls Easter morning.

My family!

Katelyn immediately sat down at the table to eat her chocolate bunny! My girl is a chocolate girl like her Mommy, Grandpa, and Great-Grandpa!

Jordan and Jake put on show for us Easter morning. They love doing this. It was so cute.

Easter Weekend

Family was in town for the weekend and we had a great time. This is my sister, Jill's nephew, Logan. We love him. He came over to dye Easter eggs with us and it was so fun to have him at our house and with everyone. He went straight for this train when he came in!

CHH with my brother-in-laws, Marty and Bob.

Saturday morning, Zack and Jordan got the dyes ready for the eggs.

Logan (2), Katelyn (3), Jake (7), Jordan (5), and Zack (10) getting ready to dye eggs. The girls love their cousins and were so excited to have them here.

My sweet Katelyn loved dying eggs as well.

Katelyn's favorite colors are pink and blue. She loved making blue Easter eggs.

After dying eggs, the cousins had an Easter egg hunt inside the house. Here they are with their baskets ready to go.

Saturday afternoon, Jordan had a soccer game. Here she is with one of her good friends. They have the same teacher at school and are together a lot.

Jordan with some of her teammates. Actually looking at this picture, all of these girls are in the same class together at school.

Saturday night, we went to the Studio Movie Grill to go see the new movie "How to Train Your Dragon". Katelyn had fallen asleep in the car after the soccer game and was still waking up when we were waiting to go in. The movie was awesome. I really liked it. Jordan and I both cried (teared up) when the boy's dragon was caged and chained. I told Jordan as I was holding her that I knew he would be OK and Mommy was right :)

PreK Easter Get Together

Jordan school got out the day before Easter weekend. Her preK class got together for lunch and to dye Easter eggs. We were going to the park but it started to rain so the event was moved inside to what we are now referring to as the preK Clubhouse (my good friend's house!).

Tables loaded with children and egg dying supplies in the house.

Katelyn loved dying eggs!

Jordan loved dying the eggs as well. I think she was one of the last kids to leave the table because she loved it so much.

Mommy and her girl!

Jordan and her good buddy. They had so much fun.

Some of the girls eating lunch. They really were so cute and had the best time.

Jordan and her friend showing bunny ears.

Katelyn enjoyed having her lunch picnic style on the floor. It was a great event and the girls had the best time. In fact when we drove home, they both fell asleep in the car.
