Quack, Quack, Waddle, Waddle

Pictures of my girls on Mother's Day at dinner. They are wearing their "Mom" t-shirts! Katelyn does the funniest thing lately. When you yell, "freeze", she throws her arms up in the air and doesn't move an inch. Her school must do this at school with the kids. It is hysterical when she does it.

Tonight my Dad all of a sudden said "There is a duck looking in your back door window!" Sure enough by the time we got outside, they had gone to the front yard. Katelyn was so excited to see them. CHH took bread out and Katelyn and him threw it to the ducks. It was cool to have ducks in our yard! Side note: Yes, Katelyn has purple wings on with her pajamas. She was playing dress up!

Ballet Recital and Rehearsal

Jordan and Katelyn at their ballet/tap rehearsal and recital this past weekend. You can click on the pictures to enlarge them if you want to see a picture closer.

Aunt Jill came as well and the girls loved having their Aunt Jill there. They love, love, love their Aunt Jill (so does Mommy).

Both girls sat on Uncle Marty's lap together during the rehearsal.

Mother's Day Weekend

Ali and her Mom came back from PA and immediately went to pick Jordan up at school. I then met them at American Girl after work. Jordan and Ali were so excited to see each other. We had a great time at eating at American Girl that night and catching up.

Ali brought Katelyn a teddy bear from Ali's new school. Katelyn loved it.

Jordan and Ali taking a bubble bath.

All three girls taking a bubble bath. This picture cracks me up with Katelyn's head barely poking out of the water.

All done! The girls are wearing the towels that Jolie sent them.

Jolie and Ali also brought Katelyn and Jordan matching dresses they had purchased in PA. Aren't all three girls cute dressed alike?!

Ali had her Texas birthday party while here at her old gym. Katelyn loved being able to participate in gymnastics at the gym like the big girls. She didn't have to stare at them through the window this time!

Here are all the girls at the party with Coach Joe.

Jordan doing a great job on the balance beam.

Katelyn walking on the balance beam as well. Katelyn loved it!

My precious girl!

I love this picture of Jordan picking Katelyn up.

Eating cake at the birthday party...

On Sunday morning, Mother's Day, the girls made pancakes.

All three girls had to stir the batter.

The girls holding the Precious Moments figurines they gave to the Mommies. I loved mine! Jordan's was a ballerina and Katelyn's was a little girl with tap shoes. Jordan's had blond hair and Katelyn's has brown. They are perfect and even more special was the girls' ballet recital was on Mother's Day!

The Boo Boo Sisters

Please note duo injuries on my girl's heads. Katelyn did hers last December and CHH continues to apply a special band-aid to her head every single night to help it heal. It was a deep cut and is pink so he is diligent about taking care of it.

Jordan has learned to do cartwheels and is quite good at it I think...well most of the time. She was at school and wanted to show her teachers her cartwheels. Apparently she slipped and fell while demonstrating. She had a nice size bump on her head with quite a bit of rug burn. She continues to do cartwheels though. It did not faze her.

Grandpa's Back!

Grandpa pulled into town last Thursday. After gymnastics Thursday night, we immediately went to Grandpa's house to say hello. Jordan and Katelyn were so excited to see their Grandpa.

I call Friday "Pretty Dress Day" at the girls' school. On Friday's, they can wear whatever they want instead of the uniform. I thought they looked so cute going to school on Friday that I had to take a picture. Jordan wanted to wear her tiara and I thought, "OK, she is only little once. Let her." She wore that crown all day at school is what her teachers told me.

My babies. They are just too darn cute I think. Jordan got into my make-up drawer and put on pink lip gloss. No, she is not allowed to wear it. I knew it would rub off before she got to school and she had fun playing.

Waiting for swimming lessons Saturday morning... Jordan insisted her Grandpa come and watch her lessons. It is funny how excited she is that he is back.

Jordan swimming on her own!

All done with lessons! Grandpa helping Jordan dry off.

After lessons, Jordan went to her friend Alyssa's house for a play date. Dad, Christopher, Katelyn and me met Jill and Marty at Abuelo's for lunch. Jill wanted to see our Dad now that he is back. It was a fun lunch and Katelyn loved having all the attention to herself. Of course, right when we arrived the first thing she did was have her Uncle Marty hold her. They have a special bond.

After lunch, we were standing outside talking before leaving. Please note where Katelyn is again!
I went to pick Jordan up at Alyssa's house and she did not want to leave. She had a wonderful time. Here the two of them are flipping off a couch in the living room.

Jordan told me later after picking her up that she now wants a playhouse inside of her house next to our couch so she can jump from the playhouse to the couch. She thought this was the best! Yes, there is a Christmas tree in my picture! Our friends told me that it has been up for four years. They set it up and could never figure out how to take it apart so they have left it. I had a great laugh when I saw it.

Sunday, we attended a going away party for one of CHH's co-workers. Her family and her are moving to New York. Both Jordan and Katelyn had a great time playing outside with the other kids.

When we left the party, Katelyn said "That was fun." It cracked me up and at the same time I thought it was so great that she is able to express herself so much more now. She continues to changes so much every day.
